Jackson, Mich.,—Plexus Technology Group, LLC (Plexus TG), a fully KLAS-rated, market-leading, best-of-breed anesthesia information management system (AIMS) provider, is pleased to announce they will be exhibiting at the 2017 International MUSE Conference held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center near Dallas, Texas from May 30th to June 2nd. Medical Users Software Exchange (MUSE), a non-profit organization of facilities that use the MEDITECH EHR, is the largest independent MEDITECH users group in the world. The MUSE conference offers attendees a wide variety of opportunities to network, learn and engage with peers and experts all sharing a common connection to the same EHR solutions.
“The 2017 International MUSE Conference provides a great opportunity for us to engage with the MEDITECH community. This is one of our favorite events each year, as it really showcases our customers’ success integrating the Plexus Anesthesia Touch platform with their MEDITECH systems,” said Tony Mira, CEO of Plexus Technology Group. “The seamless flow of information to and from the anesthesia record is a win-win that benefits both the facility and the anesthesia practice.”
Attendees look forward to the annual MUSE conference to learn from their MEDITECH peers and peer organizations that have already faced—and solved—familiar challenges. Educational sessions and presentations describing real-world product experiences are among the most popular events. This year’s MUSE conference will feature the Plexus TG Anesthesia Touch™ solution in a presentation titled “Integrating Plexus Anesthesia with MEDITECH: A Community Hospital Perspective.” Glen Rosenfeld, MD, Chair of the Department of Anesthesia at Bristol Hospital in Connecticut, will share his perspective including thoughts and suggestions for facilities considering an electronic anesthesia record. Greg Matthews, Director of Product Management for Plexus TG, will be available during the presentation to answer questions about the Plexus TG solutions. Dr. Rosenfeld’s Product Showcase session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 31st in the Grapevine 3 room at 1:00 pm.
As an exhibitor, Plexus TG will demonstrate Anesthesia Touch, an easy to use, scalable AIMS solution that simplifies how today’s providers must document to realize improved quality, increased efficiency, streamlined billing and optimal CMS Quality Payment Program reporting. Anesthesia Touch combines ease of use with best practice documentation, backed by Plexus TG’s proven, KLAS-rated experience delivering powerful integration with multiple generations of MEDITECH solutions.
“In addition to our presence in the exhibit hall, we are excited to showcase Pharmacy Touch™, our medication management system,” explained Joe Gentile, Senior Vice President of Sales at Plexus Technology Group. “We encourage attendees to stop by for an interactive demonstration to learn more about how this system delivers to anesthesia providers and their pharmacies an integrated solution with controlled-access cabinets, barcode syringe labeling, closed-loop reconciliation and automated charging.” The hands-on introduction to Pharmacy Touch will coincide with a happy hour reception sponsored by Plexus TG on Thursday, June 1st in the Gaylord Convention Center’s Forth Worth 5 room from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
